刘勇波,男,湖南隆回人,博士,副研究员,硕士生导师。
中国科学院和法国第戎大学联合培养双博士学位。2011年6月毕业于中国科学院植物研究所,获生态学博士学位;期间,2007-2010年在法国农业科学研究院(INRA)和第戎大学学习,获生物学博士学位。现在中国环境科学研究院工作,主要从事生物多样性与生物安全研究,研究兴趣在转基因生物安全研究、野生种质资源保护和亲缘地理学等。刘勇波是北京市科技新星,国际《生物多样性公约CBD》合成生物学特设技术专家组(AHTEG)成员,国家自然基金委评审专家。已主持国家自然科学基金项目、国家环境保护部公益项目、农业部转基因新品种培育重大专项、中国环境科学研究院基本科研业务改革专项、环境基准与风险评估国家重点实验室课题等十余项。已在国内外学术期刊发表论文30余篇,其中在Nature, ES&T等期刊上发表SCI论文20余篇。
