During the 2019 Annual General Meeting of CCICED in Hangzhou held from Jun. 2 to 4, 2019, CRAES President Li Haisheng met with Ms. Åsa Romson, expert in environmental law & policy in Swedish Environmental Research Institute (IVL), and former minister for Climate and the Environment, the Kingdom of Sweden, Ms. Galit Cohen, deputy director general for policy and planning in the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Israel, and Mr. Keith McLea, chief executive of the Institute of Environmental Science and Research of Crown Research Institute, New Zealand.

They held in-depth discussions on how to deepen international and innovation cooperation with CRAES’ international partners on eco-environmental science and technology, and how to enhance scientific research capacity so as to promote research achievement application.
