Yoon Seok Chang, B.S.c in Department of Chemistry, Yonsei University, Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry, Oregon State University, and President of the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER), Republic of Korea. He was the Visiting Senior Scientist of Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Visiting Professor of Department of Environmental Sciences, University of California at Riverside, Professor of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, POSTECH. His research area covers environmental pollutant analysis & monitoring based on the mass spectrometry, analysis and interpretation of mass spectra of biomolecules, biological remediation of pollutants by microorganisms, synthesis of nanomaterials for groundwater & soil treatment, and environmental aspects of engineered nanomaterials.
